Monday Monday

OK I was going to post a pic of my Parlympic progress but the 3 photos I took with my camera phone are :p
So it will have to wait.  I didn't finish a full page like I did on the Olympics.  With it being online instead of TV I was sitting away from the computer getting distracted by the internet :p
Now I'm switching gears to get Noah's Ark done by Oct.
I have a crown to finish too by Nov but I used up my Krienik and none of the box stores in the area carry that blue.  ARG.
Then it will be on to the Monkey.  I stitch way to many Love Quilt squares! Na I love it.
At my job there will be no stitching time for me anymore.  I'll be helping people in the morning and phone time for 4 hours.  Hoping the boss can talk to the higher ups about letting me work a little bit longer so I can get out earlier on Thurs so I can actually meet my friends for dinner and stitch.  It'll be 10hrs a day 5 days a week, not that much time for stitching but the ot pay will be helpful.

I made cookies!

I made cookies!  Still didn't have enough time to dip them in chocolate so I did that part at my friends house and I didn't take a picture of the plate and really out of 8 pics on my camera only 2 were of our stitching night and the rest making cookies.  I never bake or cook anything unless it's a box mix so I was rather proud of making dough and baking cookies that took 2hrs. 
Then at work today we had a training on a new system we're going to be using and that was from 2-4:30.  I had all ready asked off for 5:30 and the training in the middle of lunch I asked my boss so they said I could move my lunch to 5.  Ended up we didn't get out until after 4:30 and by the time I got downstairs there was 10 min left and by the time everything got up my sup told me not to worry about it.  So I stood at the desk while some people went over the new pay scale that's rolling out March 3rd.  Yes lots of new changes at work :p  The new pay will be good for me but my friend looked at it and she doesn't think it will be good for her.
Craftyness today was done at my stitching night with friends and I stitched some more on the Love Quilt Square.  Tomorrow I'll work on the ferret and maybe Saturday I'll start on the big project or get something done on the Dragon.  Feb 20th is when my Granny passed away last year and I think I want to start my Monopoly Stitch.  I'll need to find some game board pieces to stitch on there though my board won't be to scale.  I bought 14 count fabric instead of 18.  I'll do a quick check in the stores but I think 14 Aida is what they normally had.  I hope everyone has a nice hermit and stitch weekend.

No Pants Day 11

 A Red day today.  A coworker came by and said I see you're wearing red.  I got the memo.  Looked up he had a red checked shirt on.  I said yes but you're not wearing an awesome hat.  He admitted he didn't have a hat as awesome as mine.

I love my hat, I love my jacket and my stockings.  The hat is from Charming Charlies, the Jacket I got from Lola Rocks Clothing (you can also see her blog in my side bar on the left under fun stuff)  I think the hose were from Target.  Skirt and Top I've had for ages from Dillards I think they're both Copper Key? maybe.

 Well work was work, they had us sign up for OT an hour after our shift or an hour before and after tomorrow.  So I worked an hour over tonight and will go in early tomorrow.  I guess I'm not getting off early for stitching, oh did I say stitching no I meant appointment yeah that's right.  :p  OH and forgot my lunch on the counter today so I bought yet another Dr. Pepper and had a meal at McDonald's for my lunch.  Also, the joke was afterwards we were slow and they put us in coaching and I got to stitch, yeah we have to work ot when the calls are 2 min in between?  At least they were about 2 min for me.  Didn't go to the gym since it was later I probably should have.  I'll do something Saturday.  Friday I'm hoping to go to Archivers in Franklin with a friend or friends :)  with a stop by Khols.  My MiL gave hubs and I gift cards.  Hubs couldn't find anything so I have his.  I think this means more skirts or dresses!  I have enough skirts and dresses for 2 full weeks.  Not including the skort which was for Halloween and  is much too short for normal day wear, the velour skirt which is on the snug side of the closet and may be too short and a bit formal, the formal dress I wore for my friends wedding and my wedding dress.
