OK I was going to post a pic of my Parlympic progress but the 3 photos I took with my camera phone are :p
So it will have to wait. I didn't finish a full page like I did on the Olympics. With it being online instead of TV I was sitting away from the computer getting distracted by the internet :p
Now I'm switching gears to get Noah's Ark done by Oct.
I have a crown to finish too by Nov but I used up my Krienik and none of the box stores in the area carry that blue. ARG.
Then it will be on to the Monkey. I stitch way to many Love Quilt squares! Na I love it.
At my job there will be no stitching time for me anymore. I'll be helping people in the morning and phone time for 4 hours. Hoping the boss can talk to the higher ups about letting me work a little bit longer so I can get out earlier on Thurs so I can actually meet my friends for dinner and stitch. It'll be 10hrs a day 5 days a week, not that much time for stitching but the ot pay will be helpful.

Noah's Ark
Getting there. I had dome some words at work but when I was stitching with my friends I found that it was in the wrong place so I had to frog.
Tomorrow I'll go to JA's and see if there is blue fabric in the size I need. Other wise I'll be stitching a lot of blue!
Also, I put in to have Sunday the 12 off for the closing ceremonies so I have a whole day to sit and stitch and get progress on it.

June WIPocalypse
Some progress in May I started an Olympic Relay Stitch that is now on it's way to Milly.
I also received the Traveling Pattern Thankful for Ewe from Geeky Heather. You have until Thursday if you want to be the next person here's the link to the post.
I have a pattern that I want to stitch for the Olympics but I like Measi's Olympic Stitching too. We'll have to see how crazy I am.
Along, with mailing off the Olympic Relay Stitch I mailed off my Love Quilt Square for Caitlyn Z. I'm still working on the UFO for Cristobal. People at work can now tell it's a UFO.
If you're participating in Jumaji June or thinking about it (Geeky Heather's Theme-a-licious) There's an any child theme for wild animals of Africa, South America and Southern Asia.
I've been stitching on my Computer Dragon. I moved it to the living room so I can stitch and watch TV. I've been watching Stanley Cup Playoffs lately and Star Trek TOS.
Look the corner is almost filled in! I want to get the top row done so I can roll the bar up some and not have to roll back.

Progress on my Love Quilt Square. I still need to mail my other one off. Last night and today at work I've been working on wrapping my floss on cards to store in a tackle box. It was taking to long to sort through the things and 2 of them lost their numbers so I had to remember what those were anyway. Then it looks like I bought the wrong color, I'll need to look back through my stash to see what I have.

Stitched and TUSAL
I managed the border, band 1 Herringbone stitch and some of the cross stitch before running out of the second length that I cut.
My TUSAL with my project.
I've also been working a bit on a Love Quilt Square that will be a space ship and a Princess crown square. I think my Ferret Friday I just don't want to finally finish. If I had sat down and worked on it all day last Friday I know it would have been done but I just did a little bit.
Just got scared by some noise on my computer. I sat and stitched while watching some of the pre-videos on the Olympic Torch Site and then watched some You Tube. Apparently though the live coverage has now started.

WIPocalypse March
More blue in my Love Quilts Square
Some progress while driving to Atlanta.
Did a little bit of backstitching on Best Stressed.
Monopoly hasn't changed since the last time I stitched on it and haven't worked on anything else. Also, forgot to take a pic of myself but did wear the black dress with sleeves with my stripped leggings. Got to the gym today, I skipped Monday because I forgot shoes. Tomorrow though my stitching friends are at Fazoli's so if I don't get a call where I'm having to figure out someone's bill at the end of the night I might go and eat.
This weekend I hope to make more headway on this crafty room. I cleaned out a spot of floor to move in a shelf and then discovered it won't hold my albums like I was hoping but it should hold some other stuff from another shelf that supposed to hold CD's and then I can get rid of it.

weekend progress
I finally did spray adhesive George and Jim! They're sticky now but at least they're stuck together and not losing bits of themselves.
A LO I did for Friday Fast Track at Scrapping the Moments and Letter D for Colorful Creations. Now I have to think of E and F for next month.
Last night watched Star Trek TOS, Doctor who and did some back stitching.
Friday I didn't stitch all day like I normally do but I did get a second paw mostly done. Then discovered that some of the gray is out of place but I'll just have to figure out how to fill in around it.
Stitched a lot on the Love Quilt square. Hubs is now to the same place where I was at in Bones so we watched that yesterday. I quit on this when I kept putting the light yellow in the the V heart in the wrong place like three times! Also had to redo some of the blue but fortunately not all of it. Maybe on break I can either do the yellow right or fill in the pink.

eek don't let me slip back into old habits! TUSAL Report
Ok here's my TUSAL for the month. I like my orni. It makes it look like there are a lot more orts than when I did my rectangular rainbow tribble maker. They might need to get tapped down.
I was hoping to stitch with my friends at Shoney's but when I called at 7:30 they were leaving because there was some other group in the backroom doing a meeting and they didn't want to disturb them :( Maybe next week.
Not blogged for a bit but I've still been stitching on my Love square though I haven't touched the Dolly Mama's. On Saturday I bought the 18 count material to do my Monopoly board to scale. I started on Monday which marked a year since my Granny had passed away. I hope to find 3 charms to put on the board: her, Pawpaw and their son Brian who was 9 when he passed from Leukemia.
I don't have anything planned for this weekend. Tomorrow I will stitch more on the ferret and maybe scrapbook. My Aunt and Uncle and their kids went down to FL to see my parents and will be coming back this way on Saturday so I may go out to eat with them.
Since I broke down and got a can of Dr. Pepper I will now be up all night so I'm debating on scrapping or stitching.
Mental Floss magazine posted a brief article on their fb page of 11 people that overcame disabilties. One was this woman, Peng Jiangya, in China who burned her hands as a child and with no hands has learned how to cross-stitch and is hoping to sell her pictures to tourists. Amazing video of how she stitches.

Crafty Saturday
This evenings stitching progress. I'm leaving the green to fill in at work.
I went over to a friends to scrapbook and managed 2 pages as I forgot the printed journaling for the third. Wish I had printed out my journaling for these as my handwriting is awful. It got a little mangled when I had to slide it back in my cropper bag but it's still good. 10 Things I Love about Ponder for a challenge at Scrapping the Moments.
Taffy made the puzzle piece in a swap I had joined in. A picture of the two leashes still hanging on the cage and my journaling about how Pratchett was the only one who did well on his leash and I miss taking him to the pet store. Ponder becomes a dust mop.

Dress Up Day 13 and crafty goodies
I did put on hose, my nude fishnets. They have holes in the toes now and might have to be got rid of soon :(
My progress on my Love Quilt Square and I'll soon be done with the Dolly Mama border on Catmas so I'll have to plan out the border on Crap now I have to wrap.
Bad photo of my creative Lo :p which is a highly uncreative LO done really quickly to get it in before tomorrow. Now I have no idea what I'll do for D.

Dress Up Day Feb 2nd and cross-stitch
My new dress from Target and my new hose by Vera Wang that I got at Kohls. I layered them with my solid blue to make the pattern stand out a bit more.
A pattern that wasn't in my WIP but I decided to do a Love Quilt Square for a little girl that wanted Hearts, Flowers and the word Love. Trusty stash of Calendar patterns to the rescue! Couldn't find one with all three but I really like this one. It's due July 1st lets see if I get it stitched and sent out on time. Last quilt the Joy was done and sitting on the washer and was sent out right before the due date :p I have a few min so I might have time to start going through floss before work.
Yesterday I did more of the border and marked on my fabric lightly with pencil to find the end! I need to bring a little packet of pins or something to mark these things. Especially the Crap now I have to Wrap one because that one doesn't have the same check pattern as the others. It's solid then check and solid again. I also did some back-stitching on Best Stressed while watching Robin Hood. Still can't find the beading needle that fell into the couch.

No Pants Day 8
A bit springy in this skirt. It's the one where I hear Stacey London from What Not To Wear in my head getting me to try on polka dots. Funny is I do have a polka dot top in my clothes that is really cute but when it was first coming out I didn't really like it. This had a lot of other stuff going on besides the polka dots so I got it and this top and a blue one to match it.
When I got back in my room I realized I didn't have my scarf on that I found at Walmart for 3 bux. Probably too graphic and competing with the skirt but I wore it any way.
I took my stitching to work because Sundays are usually a bit slow. I just had to do the border of the sign and the big border. Once the major corners are counted I can just go at it and not have to worry about counting too much. I might take it with me tomorrow I'm not sure. Getting lots of complements from the other people I work with :)
I need to remember tomorrow to renew my books at the library and mail off my Love Quilts Square so it gets there on time. It's been done for months I just never washed it and got it sent off and now it's almost the last min again.

Egad!
Works been crazy and I haven't been on here since June! No TUSAL Pics I'll get one after today's stitching. Today I need to wash and press Dora so she's ready to go off on Monday but I'm going to start another square! I'm insane I tell you! But the girl loves Hockey and I can't help it. Though I could not find a hockey pattern that would be 9X9 in my stash :( I did find these.
This is here theme at Love Quilts. She wanted lime green and navy. I can change the top joy to more lime green and navy. As well as the Joy Angel. Or I can do the Faith Angel with shades of green rather than red. Then there's the total rework of the music one. I did find one that said Beautiful and Smart in shades of red and pink but the same problem with the music one is changing those colors to the same values in lime green and navy.
Actually after posting this here I really don't want to do the music one :p pick between the angels and the other joy! :D

TUSAL May
Well just barely making it but HEEEEEeeeeeeeeeeeeeerre's JIM!
Well I hope to have more for you this Month. I've started a new Love Quilt. I told myself I was going to wait but it was Dora Princess and I found a pretty JPEG and made my own pattern so I hope it turns out OK.
My Birthday party is next Saturday. I had hoped for a Friday 13th party for my Halloween theme but I started a new job and work interfered.
Hopefully I'll have some awesome party pictures to show! Remind me to take pics people!
Now I have to run, get gas and head to my friends son's baseball game.

Love Quilts
Love Quilts has new children up for 2011.
I'm trying to print off an image of Dora with a grid playing around with photo size now so I can get the grid to cover the whole pictures.
The little girl wants Princess and Dora with orange and purple. I found a picture of Dora in a yellow princess dress with pink and blue trim so I'm going to make the trim orange and purple.
I might go really crazy and try to do 2 quilt squares by September 1st! The other theme is pigs and my friend, who's last name is Bacon' might have a pig pattern that will work.
There is also another child who wants a Precious Moments and little girl quilt.
If you love to cross-stitch please considering stitching a quilt for a child who would love to have one.

Tally Scraper Love Quilt Stitcher
I finished a LO for Tally Scrapper's Survivor Challenge.
I asked the ZQC to do an orange picspam so I could get hotness photos :) I wanted to use my vellum quote I'm kind of a big deal but I should have backed it on orange rather than hope alcohol ink would pop that much, or put it over the grunge board maybe but once it was stuck it wasn't coming up. The background paper is from color bok I needed a tree and some buttons so this pattern worked out well.

Then I stitched my name on the love quilt square going to Alexander Y. This will be the third square I've done. I just need to get it washed and sent out.

Stitch Saturday and Hockey Afternoon Sunday
After a few snow days I finally got out to see my friends and do some stitching. I finished up the star and have some more of the rocket done. I think I'm going to run out of 797 but my friend checked and she has a lot so yeah!! I just hope it matches close to what I have because I'm using some old DMC.

Today my hubby's team (Flyers) played hockey on NBC so I watched the game with him and did some stitching. I got some blue in the tree and found a spot of gray that had to be frogged. On the Rocket and some of my other stitching I make mistakes and go 'eh I'll fill in around it' but this one bugs me and I take it out and redo. I just hope I have enough thread!

What the? Well at least half the blue is done.
I stitched the little star and asteroid over Christmas and you would have think I would have looked the picture of my pattern and the stitching and realized I had stitched the wrong color? I looked at it today and said to myself why isn't there a orange dot? OH it's supposed to be BLUE or blueish gray like what's on the left of the bottom flame. Apparently I read the numbers to the left side of the symbol :p I guess the star and asteroid that will be on the left side will have some extra orange and a dot spaced out there somewhere just to balance it out.
On a good note the blue on the right side is done. I'm hoping I have another skein of it though because it's looking mighty skimpy!

Today's Stitches
My friend had Cabin Fever so I had her pick me up for lunch today because I figured she had a little more experience driving on ice than I did. Not really but she wasn't freaking out like I would have been. We went out to eat sushi. Here's my yummy bento box.
Then we went 'window' shopping. Yeah there might have been an oops on the look but don't buy but my friend made sure I'd use it and I made sure she'd use her stuff too ;)
After the 'window' shopping she had to run by my place so I could get my stitching so I could stitch while we watched a movie at her place. I forgot my scissors so I had to use giant ones and also got into the fact that I had three pairs of scissors for Cross-stitch. She was like you need 3 pairs of scissors for cross-stitch? I told her no but explained the three scissors I had and that I used to have 4 but one got lost (and it had a big fob on it too I was mad!) I also had to explain fobs to her and she didn't get that either. She had to look it up on the after I told her it wasn't any more pointless than tea cozies or knitted ipod covers! (Yeah she had to look up both of those too :D )
So here's what I got done on my Love Quilt Square while watching Easy A (hilarious btw) and half of Despicable Me! (also, hilarious and family friendly!) {We watched half of the movie because my friend likes the It's So Fluffy! line where they 'win' the Unicorn}

Then she dropped me off back home and later on was the hockey game so I went back and did the top of the tree that I had to frog yesterday and started on some light gray too. My team won 5-2 so I'm taking that as a good sign that I didn't mess up anywhere else.

Tomorrow is yet another snow day :p I'm going to try to clean some of the house before I watch movies and sit on my butt. Maybe I'll even clean my craft room and scrapbook! (gasp my other friend will do a happy dance if I scrapbook!)
